Philip Thao brings information from his research of the effects of rap lyrics has on Americas youth. His motive was to not only inform his teacher but also those who want to know the why and how music affects the youth.

Philip Thao is a student at Hudson, Wi. He has researched his information from professors and psychologist. He doesn't have much experience other than the fact that he is high school student. The Young Author Foundation, Ink provides for the website.
Teen in is a national teen magazine, book series, and website who has devoted it self to teenage writer,photos, and forums since 1989.

Both Phillipe Thao and Teen, Ink has informed the public of both the negative and positve affect rap and hip hop brings to the youth.

There doesn't seem to be any bias. The author brought information from both sides of the issue.
